"It’s been a great honour but after 3 years it feels the right time for me to stand down as Men’s 1st XV Captain. I’ve really enjoyed my time leading the boys out and feel the club is in a great place to kick on and for the next captain (announced next week) to put his stamp on the team.
My thanks go to Luke and Luffy as well as the rest of the management team for the support they’ve given me. Luke and Luff are two great guys with all the ideas and enthusiasm needed to keep the club moving forward.
Not hanging the boots up just yet, and will still be up the club most days, but I’m going to just enjoy playing whatever we get of this season coming and continue with my role coaching the Nuns.
Thanks to all the guys who have followed me out onto the field on a Saturday, genuinely been an honour leading you all."
-Bev.
