Reading Abbey RFC

The Club shop is open every Sunday from around 9am – 12noon. It will remain open longer if there are afternoon matches. It is also open on a Saturday afternoon when the 1st team are playing at home

The shop will also open around once a month on Junior training nights: Mon and Wed. This is generally the first week of the month. Please look out for emails from your Team Manager with exact dates and times. There are also updates on Facebook Abbey RFC Information and the Nuns page. 

If you need something more urgently and are not able to get tothe club, please email Sally Husbands at shusbands@btinternet.com. There are opportunities to collect from home and pay cash or bank transfer.

If you require any help/advice then simply email Sally, and she will do her best to respond to your questions.

Just as a guide, U6s usually wear Junior/XSB, U7/U8 – SB, U9/U10 – MB and U11/U12 – LB. But obviously children come in all shapes and sizes!!

There are two designs for the Abbey Contact top.  The Child sizes have ABBEY RFC across the back.  The Adult sizes have the Abbey Crest on the front.  These are excellent showerproof tops with a fleece lining, just perfect for training at Abbey on those cold damp winter days.

Shorts are available in Mens/Boys with green piping or Ladies/Girls with pink piping.

Socks are navy/green/white for the boys and navy/green/pink for the girls.

They are sold by shoe size.

Socks are £10, with the exception of 12-2 size which are £9.

Abbey Challenger Jacket

The jackets above are the two fully waterproof jackets on sale in the shop.  The pictures are just stock pictures.

Abbey Challenger jacket
Primary colour of navy, with the lighter panels in emerald green and the Abbey Crest on the left breast.
This is a fleece lined jacket, with taped seams and a drop tail at the back. 
It has a hood.
Great for coaches or for anyone wanting to keep dry whilst watching a match.

Available in adult sizes XS & XL.

The Abbey Navigator jacket
Is a puff jacket, which is lovely and warm as well as being fully waterproof.
The Abbey version is navy blue with the Abbey crest on the left breast. 
This is not a product for on the pitch, but popular for watching.

Abbey Bench Coat

The Bench Coat is available currently only in Child size.
It is navy with the Abbey crest on the left chest. 
It is one size and will fit age 9 – 13 approx. it is padded and waterproof.

Abbey Hamilton

Perfect for training as no zips, buttons or hoods. It is available in grey or in navy. Both have the Abbey crest on the left chest. These are thinner tops to be put on over layers to provide the top showerproof layer.

Abbey Georgia

The Georgia is a lightweight showerproof jacket in navy with Abbey crest on the left chest. It has a full zip and a hood.  Available in adult sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and priced at £25.

Abbey Matcchday Bag

The large matchday bag measures 66 x 36 x 30cm.  It is navy with the Abbey Crest on the flap at the top. It has 4 external pockets and an internal pocket.  Perfect for keeping your muddy kit and boots separated from clean clothes kit on a matchday. Priced at £35.

Abbey Backpack

The Abbey Backpack is one of the most popular items in the shop. Very sturdy and more manageable than the Matchday bag for younger players.  Dimensions are 48 x 34 x 20cm. Heavy duty handle and has both external and internal pockets. Priced at £33.

Boot bag is 36 x 17 x 21cm and is black in colour.  Enough room for boots, studs, socks. Has an external zip pocket.  Priced at £15.
