It is with great sadness that Abbey Rugby Club announce the sad passing of one of our Founders, Larry Gaines. Larry was a key force in the creation of Abbey rugby club and his legacy still runs strong at Abbey. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Gaines family at this sad time. For those wishing to pay their respects, Larry’s funeral will be held at Reading Crematorium on Wednesday 9th November at 3:15pm. The wake will be held afterwards at Abbey Rugby Club to celebrate the lives of Olive and Larry.
