It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of former player Glen Martin on 22nd December 2023.
Despite possessing all the physical credentials for a front row forward, Glen preferred to play his rugby on the wing! We have fond memories of him fending-off the opposition with his barrelled chest or vicious hand-off. Post-match he would welcome us into Reading’s Bar Four where he worked the door. A big, cuddly gentleman - he’ll be fondly remembered and forever missed.
Glen’s funeral will be held at 3.15pm on 18/1/24 at Henley Road Crematorium for those wishing to pay their respects.
