2nd XV Abbots Captain Announcement.
Abbey RFC would like to introduce Chris Munce and Matt Fearn as the 2020-21 Abbots Captains.
They will share the role to support the Abbots for the upcoming season and will have specific roles on and off the pitch.
Chris Munce:
"I’m looking forward to getting back out on the pitch with all the lads again. I’m hoping we can get a good pre season under our belt and be ready for the season ahead. Towards the end of last season we won 3 or 4 games in a row, so I’m hoping we can start our season again with that winning mentality!"
Matt Fearn:
"With the players in the current squad there really is no reason why we cannot push for the league title in the upcoming season. We have a fantastic blend of experienced players and exciting young talent coming through from our colts squad. Commitment to preseason will be vital if we are to achieve our goals!"
